Research shapes how I ask questions.
In my neuroscience work, I studied how people perceive, process information and regulate their actions. Today, I bring that perspective to my work with entrepreneurs and leadership teams.
I am interested in how you arrive at your judgement: What do you observe? What does your experience add? Which information would change your assessment? These questions connect scientific rigour with your real leadership practice.
My scientific background.
I hold a German Diplom in psychology and earned my doctorate in natural sciences at the University of Bremen. My diploma thesis on the neurocognition of music was completed at the Max Planck Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience in Leipzig. My doctoral work focused on functional MRI and cognitive control.
At Hannover Medical School, I conducted neuroscience research including work on emotional speech perception. Around 20 years of brain research form the foundation of my work today.
Further training in neuroimaging took me to the Martinos Center in Boston.

The work I do today.
From my own entrepreneurial experience, I know what it means to make decisions while much remains unresolved. In Executive Performance Advisory, we connect current situations with the development of your personal way of working.
In the AI Leadership Lab, leadership teams examine how AI can support decisions and leadership. Reviewing the results and taking responsibility for consequences remain human tasks.
